A recent survey conducted by Chicago lender Guaranteed Rate found that a lot of people are more comfortable with public speaking, heights, flying, snakes and confined spaces than they are with tackling the mortgage loan process.
Granted, over half of the 1,000 home buyers polled found the financing experience easy to do, but the rest of those surveyed said they’d rather do almost anything else rather than go through the lending process, including:
While this survey may seem rather comical, it just goes to show how anxious some people can become when obtaining financing for their home, gathering the necessary paperwork, and – finally – signing all of the documents at closing.
